DesignTO Tours: Jones Commons

Join DesignTO for an exclusive tour of the Jones Commons, an adaptive reuse multiplex that is home to four residences and a creative office.

Anne-Marie Armstrong, Principal of AAmp Studio and owner of Jones Commons, will share the story behind the building’s transformation, the design decisions that shaped its evolution, and the opportunities and challenges of adapting existing buildings for contemporary use, from the unique perspective of both the architect and client. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the creative office and the new principal residence, experiencing firsthand the relationship between the original structure and its contemporary interventions.
